Meet your instructor

 

Hey, I'm Estrella! I'm a video editor who has worked with NBA, Revolut, Charli XCX, Lola Young, Pokimane and many more.  

I went to school for business and humanities but deep down, I always wanted to pursue art. I just didn't know how to stand out when there's so many young talented creatives.

The summer before my last year of university, I taught myself how to do mixed media animation through countless hours of experimentation and analyzing the works of editors I admire. I figured it could be my ticket into the industry. 

I posted my practice videos on Instagram in hopes of getting an internship but it resulted in me freelancing full-time as soon as I graduated (with mixed media being 90% of my jobs).

I'd like to think that I contributed to the rise of mixed media work, and I hope to continue to do so. If you take the course, I'll be passing on everything I've learned the past 2 years to you.
